Asking your friends, family and colleagues to give their own money to support your favourite cause is no longer the only way to fundraise: take the money from us!
If you would like to raise money for the cause nearest to your own heart whilst you shop, without it costing you a penny, just follow the steps set out below to Register a Fund. If instead you want to support a friend or colleague's existing fundraising, click here to do so: Find the Fund.
- Registering your choice of cause to benefit is a two stage process. First you need to register as a fundraiser; then you need to log in to your fundraiser account and name the cause or causes you want to benefit.
- We'll need your email and a password to keep your fundraising secure and either your name or the name of the organization which is raising funds, and a brief description of each project or cause for which you want to raise money. You can choose whether or not to give a contact email.
- Then it is just a case of telling everyone you can think of that they can help you raise money for your Fund(s) without putting their hands in their own pockets.
It is as simple as that. We will stay in touch by email and let you know how the fundraising for your Fund(s) is going and once we have been our commission on the transactions made by your supporters, we will credit half to your Fund(s), and get BACS details from you as to where you want it paid.
NB If a registered charity is mentioned anywhere in the name or description of a Fund then we will pay the entire sum raised for that Fund direct to the charity mentioned. This is to ensure that no-one is misled into supporting a Fund not in fact destined for the charity it mentions.
If you would prefer not to choose a Fund to support, half of the commission on your purchases will still go to a charitable cause but it will be one listed by Amanda in Find the Fund). You can change that, or set up your own Fund and support that, at any time by logging in, clicking on Your Account at the bottom of that page, and following the instructions.
