The Find it Fairy has gathered a huge number of products and services in one place and organised them into tidy piles by category, so you can find what you need in two main ways from the top left hand side of the site:
- by typing a keyword (e.g. pillow case) into the keyword search box and clicking "GO". This works best when searching for specific items, and will bring up all the matching products on the site;
- by browsing the categories and sub-categories there (you can see the full map of subcategories in the Categories Index). This method works best for more general searches eg "bedlinen" or "bedroom", and will bring up a list of the relevant online suppliers.
The Find it Fairy allows you to browse and shop from around 400 household names and niche suppliers, including their Sales and Clearance lines, at prices which are the same as if you shopped with them direct – all without leaving home.
Once you find what you need, you can either buy it straight away or, if you want to mull it over or get someone to buy it for you, use the Gift List feature...
If you want to raise money for the cause nearest to your heart whilst you shop, without it costing you a penny, you have two choices. If someone has asked you to support their fundraising, click on Support a Fund below. If you want the money to go to a Fund of your choosing, click on Register a Fund below. Both are very quick and easy to do. If you do neither, half of your commission will still go to a charitable cause but it will be one supported by Amanda (the site's founder: Find the Fund). You can change that, or set up your own Fund and support that, at any time by logging in, clicking on Your Account at the bottom of that page, and following the instructions.
